How real QR/NFC product orders showed us why personalization needs automation.
From a Custom Order to a Reusable Product Generator — Business Case

We tested personalized 3D products with Kiska café, developed a custom prototype for Invest Alliance, and completed our first independent paid B2B order for Fever bar: 50 personalized keychains for €100.
Every order needed a new design
Each new customer needed a different logo, text, size or QR/NFC configuration. Printing itself was easy once the model was ready. The time-consuming part was preparing a new design for every order.
From manual CAD work to generators
This led us to reusable generators. Instead of editing every model manually in CAD, the seller enters customer parameters and receives a new print-ready version.
Conclusion
The scalable part of 3D printing is not producing more copies, but automating the customization that happens before printing.
